The Rayograph

Shades of Color

French studio [BP] Architectures has created this interesting building housing a gallery space and apartments. The building’s exterior is made up of sheets of golden aluminium, hiding surprise splashes of color beneath. Shutters can be drawn back to reveal pink, mauve, and orange windows with a view over Paris’ Place de la Bastille. The gallery space lies on the ground floor behind glazed glass and zig-zagging concrete columns.
