The Rayograph

Serious Skylights, Funky Dining Room in Family Home

Dutch architect Dick van Gameren dreamt up the design for the remodeling of this family house near Hilversum. The house has been dubbed Villa 4.0 as this is its fourth major restructuring since its initial construction in the 1960s.

The house now features a number of glass walls and skylights, and, as such, there is plenty of natural light throughout the interior.

Other notable features include a multi-faceted ceiling and this funky fabulous dining room.

Also, the area is just naturally beautiful and provides great views.

    Again..I love this.
My comments are blending because each new architectural posting on The Rayograph amazes me and makes me want to start a “scrap book’ of all the ideas for small dream home I wish to build someday…somewhere.
    Keep them coming!
