Let’s Dive into Some Design, Shall We?

The 2012 Olympics will be here before we know it – I’m sure you’re already preparing festivities.

What, you haven’t planned festivities? Well you had better, because after December 21, 2012 it’ll be just us and the radioactive cockroaches struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic hellscape.

But let’s not focus on that now.

Zaha Hadid and her team designed the recently-completed London Aquatics Center for the 2012 Olympics. Form follows function – the undulating concrete “insprired by the fluid geometry of water in motion,” as stated on Hadid’s site.
