Timber, Stone, and Steel

A1 Architects designed this intriguing loft residence in Prague. The loft features a staircase encased in a stainless steel net, rather than lined by a more traditional banister. Also of interest – the array of illuminated wooden shelves that cover the wall behind the staircase. Throughout the space, there is an interesting mixture of exposed timbers with steel and stone.

Very cool. I like the slanted ceiling and windows and how the light enters the room.
