Foggy Ideal

The architects of MOOARC remodelled a 15th century stone barn on the foggy isle of Guernsey, transforming it into a modern, light-filled home. As Inhabitat’s Andrew Michler notes, “The British island, just off the Normandy Coast, has exceptionally mild weather, but sunshine is rarely in the cards. The retrofit and addition of the old stone building was infused with glass to encourage the meek natural light to penetrate the living space, creating a more comfortable space year round.”

As for me – The bookshelf-lined loft space? Love it. Skylight in the bathroom? Feeling it. A lot of special details to be found in the La Concha House.
