The Rayograph

Field of Light

Artist Bruce Munro has created a dazzling field of light for his latest installation. At the Holburne Museum in Bath, UK, the gardens play host to over 5,000 frosted acrylic orbs, all connected to a color-scrolling projector by way of lengths of fiber optic cable. Clusters of orbs change color, providing a show that recalls the pulsing lights of a midsummer night’s fireflies.
