The Rayograph

By Some Strange Mathematics, A Geometry Unknown

Portland-based artist Mark Warren Jacques creates marvelous works in ink and acrylic, almost-but-not-quite overwhelming with geometry and color. He imagines patterned landscapes and constellations, using some strange mathematics to render them clearly, precisely. It can be difficult to tell that these works are made by hand, not by some computer-bound stylus.
