The Rayograph

Made by Nature

German artist Walter Mason creates lovely, ephemeral art using materials provided by nature – leaves, grass, berries, stones, and much more. These Andy Goldsworthy-like creations are but temporary interventions, as soon – be it by rushing water or wind – each pattern is lost to time. As such, the creator photographs his creations, preserving them so that we may experience them too.

This is my new favorite Rayograph posting. Not only is the art beautiful and inspired it is also reflective of the impermanence of life itself. Bravo.
