Here Comes the Neighborhood is – as its creators Jenner Furst and Tony Goldman explain – “a short-form docuseries exploring the power of public art and innovation to uplift and revitalize urban communities.” Each episode “explores a unique juncture in history as a new community emerges and evolves” and showcases the public art of such international headliners as Vhils, Gaia, Faile, Interesni Kazki, Liqen, and Shepard Fairey. The series – which, in its pilot season, focuses on Wynwood, a community in transition in southern Florida – means to encourage community participation, as well as champions the idea that art is for everyone.
