Depending on your point of view, you might find some of these colored pencil drawings by Marco Mazzoni to be a touch unnatural. I can certainly understand that – as individuals, we identify with faces, and here, well, many of the figures lack certain features. Where eyes and lips should be, there are instead delicate butterfly wings and colorful flower petals. So, unnatural? Sure, a little. But beautiful? Without a doubt.
