Detailed Delights

Look at artist Kirra Jamison‘s intricate, delicate paintings. Just look at them. The Australian talent has a way of turning such a little thing, be it flower, spiderweb, or bird, into a large-scale painted figure awash in vibrant color and characterized by such exquisite added details. At first glance, I thought that several of these pieces were made of folded and cut paper, but all are the result of meticulous painting. Her works on paper tend to be executed in acrylic, gouache, and ink. I look forward to seeing more of her fine art soon!
