Funky, Fresh, and Functional

New Zealand native turned UK-based designer Phil Cuttance makes some pretty nifty objects by way of an assembly line process that is entirely nifty in and of itself. His functional objects – primarily vases and lamp shades – are funky, fresh, and multifaced. The designer’s workspace is pretty fabulous too, as you can see in the short ‘making of’ video below. From the mold making to the paint mixing, it all seems like a fairly involved process, but one with a worthwhile end result.
