The Modern, Unusual, and Green Edgeland Residence by Bercy Chen Studio

Austin, Texas-based Bercy Chen Studio designed the Edgeland Residence, a Colorado River-adjacent abode that is absurd in the best possible way. The modern house is meant to be loosely inspired by Native American pit houses. Sunken into the earth, the building’s temperature is kept steady year-round in part by its low profile and green rooftop.
